Brian Labay is a voice actor and stunt performer based in the Philadelphia / New York market. He grew up on a farm in rural Texas in a community that didn't leave much space for emotional expression — so when he found theater, it opened something up. It was there he began to understand that the experiences a person carries, the good ones and the difficult ones, don't have to be left at the door. They can be the work. From there, Brian served ten years in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, including four years stationed in Guam and immersing himself in Eastern cultures that broadened his sense of the world and the people in it. Later, he trained for two years in the Meisner Technique at The Ruskin School of Acting in Los Angeles, and has trained in stunt performance for film. What connects all of it is a belief that every chapter of life — every hard season, every new place, every unexpected turn — is material. The more you've lived, the more sincerely you can connect. Brian is still adding to that.
